Hitachi introduces the DZ-BD10H, a high end camcorder which is Blu-ray capable. The DZ-BD10H bundles up a 7 megapixel CMOS sensor, 10X optical zoom, 2.7 inch display and image stabilizer.
The DZ-BD10H features face recognition which adjusts the brightness to ensure good quality images even if the subject is strongly backlit. You can preview as well as review the images through its 2.7-inch LCD. Connect it to your computer or TV with its HDMI socket.
Its on board 30 GB memory can store up to 4 hours and 20 minutes of full HD video while an optional 32GB SDHC card can store up to 45 minutes of full-quality 1920×1080 AVCHD video. Its single 8cm Blu-ray disc can store up to one hour of recording.
The Hitachi DZ-BD10H camcorder will be available in the in Japan on August 9 and is expected to be priced between $1400 and $1600.
