Samsung unveils its new SC-MX20 camcorder, featuring YouTube connectivity and amazing features in a compact design. This stylish Samsung camcorder offers customized recording mode which is optimized for YouTube or multi-media devices. Some of its other features being a 680K pixel CCD sensor, 720×480 resolution, Schneider lens, 34x optical zoom, a 2.7 inch LCD, 3-D Noise Reduction technology, Face Detection and Advanced Image Stabilization.

The Samsung SC-MX20 camcorder has an exclusive swivel hand-grip that easily adjusts for regular and low angle shooting. The SC-MX20’s unique shooting mode lets you select a resolution and format which is perfect for uploading content to YouTube or multi-media devices. On selecting Web & Mobile mode, the camcorder automatically sets the resolution to 640×480 (H.264 / AAC / MP4) optimized for use on Web sites. You can edit and customize the video files with the CyberLink software.
The Samsung SC-MX20 comes with iCheck and iScene modes. iCheck lets you check the remaining battery life as well as storage capacity while with iScene you can select up to 10 automatic scene modes.
The Samsung SC-MX20 provides SD/SDHC memory slot up to 32 GB and MMC+ memory cards. It uses H.264 compression to offers longer record times and excellent video quality. The H.264 technology helps reduce the time taken to upload or send video files through email by offering twice the compression ratio compared to other camcorders. The H.264 compression thus provides four hours of recording using an 8GB memory card, eight hours using a 16GB card and 16 hours using a 32GB card. Its battery life lasts up to three hours.
The SC-MX20 lets you choose among black, red, white, and blue colors with a silver trim. It will hit the markets in August and is expected to carry a price tag of $279.99.
