Kodak EasyShare C513 Digital Camera Introduced

Today, Kodak introduced a new digital camera titled the EasyShare C513. The new 5 megapixel compact digicam is Kodak’s first camera with CCD for a CMOS sensor.

The Kodak C513 Camera features:

  • 5.0 MP camera for prints up to 20 × 30 in. (50 × 76 cm)
  • 3X optical zoom lens
  • 2.4 in. (6.1 cm) color display
  • Digital image stabilization
  • Video with sound and print options
  • 13 scene and 3 color modes

    • Besides, the camera features 640×480 video and audio-only recording modes too. The new camera incorporates 16MB of internal memory or SD cards.

    “Traditionally, CMOS has allowed for lower cost camera design but was not able to provide top image quality,” said John Blake, general manager of Kodak’s digital division.

    He added further, “Kodak has changed that dynamic with the introduction of a digital camera at a remarkably affordable price without compromising image quality or camera function.”

    Kodak EasyShare C513 will start shipping in August 2007 and its will cost $99.
