Fujifilm made an announcement of its new upcoming infrared DSLR camera, the IS Pro. The new camera expands Fujifilm’s FinePix cameras series.
The camera includes Fuji’s Super CDD Pro and Real Photo Processor Pro. Moreover, it also has Live Image Preview and Fuji’s post capture face detection.

“We’re very excited to be offering this highly-anticipated camera to customers here in the U.S.,” said Darin Pepple, consumer and professional marketing manager.
“With our different kits, at different price levels, we are making it easier for law enforcement agencies to achieve a quick, cost-effective solution for entering into UV and IR investigative photography,†he added.
The new Fujifilm IS Pro camera is now available in US at the price of $2,600 and onwards. The price depends on the additional accessories bought with the camera.
