S830 and S1030 Digital Cameras Unleashed by Samsung

Seems like Samsung is on a digital camera-launching spree. Yesterday the gold and silver ones, today it unveiled the thinnest digital camera, and now, it has unleashed compact cameras that fits in the modest-price range. They are the S830 and the S1030 digital cameras, the former being an 8 MP one while the latter a 10 MP one.

There are some common features to both of them. The both have a silver casing, a 3x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD monitor. Samsung has also put a built-in microphone for voice memo attachments. Also, there is an auto-macro, ISO 1600, SD / MMC card support, optional rechargeable battery pack, AVI / MPEG4 movie mode and ten pre-set scene modes. The main difference is the storage; S830 has just 20 MB of internal memory while the S1030 has 45 MB. Samsung has said that the S830 and S1030 digital cameras will release in Spring 2007, but did not divulge any details about the pricing of the two.
