BenQ E820 and C740i Digital Cameras Launched

BenQ has introduced two compact digital cameras, the E820 and C740i, which expands its DC-series. The C740i has enhanced the BenQ C740, whereas the E820 is a successor to the BenQ E720.

Both the cameras deliver versatile features, intuitive user interface with large bright 2.5-inch LTPS screen and Pentax lens.

The BenQ C740i features 7 Megapixel CDD image sensors, 3x optical zoom, continuous movie recording with optical zoom and a face-tracking function. A true-to-life high image performance camera can automatically detect and track human faces. The C740i carries the PASM (Program AE/Aperture Priority/Shutter Priority/Manual) mode, which enables the consumer to manually customize the aperture and shutter speed of their choice. The camera’s high ISO can hold high sensitivity up to 1600 for clear photos in a dark environment.

The features of the BenQ E820 include an 8.0 megapixel CCD image sensor, and 3x optical zoom. It comes with printing mode, continuous movie recording with optical zoom, 13 scene modes and 3:2 and 16:9 special output sizes. Furthermore, the camera is equipped with 3:2 resolution mode for easy printing without trimming edges; 16:9 resolution mode for direct display on a 16:9 TV. This makes the E820 an all-round, highly versatile high performance camera.

The E820 also provides a face-tracking function and creative photo frames for photo decoration.

The price and the availability are unannounced.
