Six new HP Ivy Bridge desktops have entered the scene to augment the consumer desktop portfolio of the company. The range is inclusive of the Omni 220qd, Omni 27qd, TouchSmart 520xt, Pavilion HPE h8t, Pavilion HPE h8xt and Pavilion HPE h9t Phoenix.

They are powered by the third generation Intel quad core processors that not only bring improved performance to the fore, but also built-in security features for added data protection. Intel Inside claims to increase the productivity by up to twofold by enhancing the processor performance as well as the HD media and 3D graphics rendering. These latest processing systems tag along attributes such as Intel Secure Key and Intel OS Guard, both of which work towards offering users with protection against viruses, rootkits and malware amongst others.

Leading the pack is the sleek Omni 220qd all-in-one, that comes encased in a stylish cantilever design. Beats by Dr. Dre integration in the PC adds to the acoustic performance of the PC. The Omni 27qd is a 27-inch AIO and goes on to be the first non-touch desktop system from the manufacturer to be loaded with the exclusive Magic Canvas software. The TouchSmart 520xt is a touchscreen device and it boasts of some enhanced multimedia features.

The sleek and simply designed HP Pavilion HPE h8t and h8xt can carry out ultimate computing, says the company. Some models of these systems can extend support to a maximum of three displays at the same time. And lastly, the Pavilion HPE h9t Phoenix is apparently the most powerful pavilion platform and is compliant with high-power applications such as games and video editing.

The HP Ivy Bridge desktops release date and price details have been chalked out. The Omni 220qd, Omni 27qd and HP TouchSmart 520xt prices are $999 (approx. Rs. 52,500), $1,199 (approx. Rs. 63,000) and $999 (approx. Rs. 52,500), respectively. The Pavilion HPE h8t and Pavilion HPE h8xt will carry price tags of $699 (approx. Rs. 36,700) and $800 (approx. Rs. 42,000), correspondingly. They will hit store shelves on June 24. The Pavilion HPE Phoenix will be made available on April 29 for $1,149 (approx. Rs. 60,340).
