An interesting accessory for the iMac termed BackPack has popped up in the wild, reports I4U. Well, to be clear it is nothing more than a small platter that can be attached behind the iMac. The device can conveniently hide the clutter of USB drives and external hard drives behind the monitor.
The BackPack measures 0.95†x 7†and weighs approximately half a pound. However, this dainty device can hold up to five pounds of weight. The BackPack easily clips on to the L-shaped desk stands of the iMac or the Apple Cinema Displays, keeping them scratch-free.
The gauge steel surface is properly ventilated enabling the BackPack to hold the drives even when they are running. It uses the gravitational pull to keep the scratch-free surface from sliding around.
The BackPack for the iMac is a perfect place to hide the clutter of peripherals from the line of site and pretend that the table is as clean as ever. The BackPack will be made available for $29.99 (approx. Rs. 1,443). Well, we feel that the pricing for this device is a bit unreasonable considering its usage.
