Packard Bell iXtreme desktop gets a sleek new look

Packard Bell had recently released their imedia desktop range with the updated version of the iXtreme desktop. According to Techfresh, the high-end desktop has been incorporated with a few upgraded specifications and sleek new design.

The look of the desktop may not cater to the style buffs but the specifications will surely hold their attention. The iXtreme allows users to choose from processors like Core i7, Core 2 Quad, or AMD Phenom II X4 to suit their needs. The desktop comes equipped with up to 12GB of DDR3 memory and storage space that can be extended up to 3TB.

The company allows users to incorporate any Nvidia graphics chipset including the 1GB GeForce GTS 250. The desktop PC also bundles up Blu-ray combo drive and ten USB ports to attach a host of USB peripherals. The PC runs on Windows Vista Premium edition operating system. The other specifications of the iXtreme include optional DVB-T tuner, e-SATA ports, Firewall ports and multi-card reader.

The Packard Bell iXtreme desktop will be made available in UK this month and is expected to be priced at £599 (approx. Rs.47,332). Packard Bell plans to remain silent about launching of this product outside UK.
