Today details of the Sony’s new digital SLR camera called A700 were revealed. It features 12.2 effective megapixels and an “Exmor” CMOS sensor.
According to the information circulating on the internet, the camera incorporates durable magnesium alloy body panels, which are complemented by a reinforced aluminum alloy chassis. Besides, the camera is expected to have weather-resistant silicon seals protecting buttons and media card slots from dust and moisture.

The A700 camera would be the first DSLR camera with HDMI output for connection to any HD-ready TV or display. Besides, the camera will ship with infrared remote commander that can be used as a wireless shutter release. The commander is ideal for reducing the vibrations and it also can be used for controlling the viewing of images on a television.
