Axiotron has introduced a new updated version of the Modbook tablet PC. The Modbook, a Mac OS powered device for creative professionals is now available in two configurations namely 2.1 GHz or 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors and 120GB or 160GB 5400-rpm hard drives, respectively.
“Accepting Apple’s invitation to join its Proprietary Solution Provider program last year allows Axiotron to continuously update the Modbook by leveraging Apple’s continued leadership in notebook innovation and performance,” said Andreas Haas, CEO of Axiotron. “As the world’s only tablet Mac, the Modbook represents a truly unique combination of power and portability for mobile creative professionals.”

The updated Modbook’s 2.1 GHz, 120GB base configuration is available through Axiotron Authorized Resellers at $2,290 USD.
