Portable and desktop models of storage solutions are included under this fashionable lineup.
These USB 2.0 HDDs flaunt an exclusive organizing skill which conveniently puts all the saved files into groups. After the quick software installation, the devices automatically and chronologically categorize users’ photos, videos, music and documents stored on their PC, photos, videos, music and documents any connected USB storage device or online sites such as Facebook, Flickr and Picasa Web Albums. Hassle-free digital content arrangement is carried out for saving time with a sense of ease.
Designed for Mac and PC users, each drive of this portfolio comes integrated with the Hitachi LifeStudio content management app and Hitachi Backup software. The company’s cloud service allows users to protect, store, view, download and share their content in natural format from any web browser. iPhone or iPad users can take backup of their Apple device every 30 minutes or selected time and date slot. The LifeStudio app offers 3GB of online storage at no additional cost.
Interestingly, the LifeStudio Plus family comes with an incorporated 4GB USB key which lets users swiftly and effortlessly sync important files and folders with ultimate flexibility. Specific filers or folders can be selected to sync to the USB key which can be removed and plugged onto any PC or Mac with a USB port. When this key is placed on the device again, it mechanically syncs everything back together.
Hitachi’s LifeStudio external drives are anticipated to be available through the company’s distribution channels and select retail stores by the end of this month. The LifeStudio mobile with cradle is available in three capacities of 250GB, 320GB and 500GB for Rs. 4,400, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 6,100, respectively. Further, the LifeStudio mobile plus hard drive is priced at Rs. 6,100 for 320GB and Rs. 7,200 for 500GB. On the other hand, the LifeStudio desk model costs Rs. 5,500 for 500GB, Rs. 6,600 for 1TB, and Rs. 9,800 for 2TB. Lastly, the LifeStudio desk plus will make users shell out Rs. 7,700 for 1TB and Rs. 10,900 for 2TB drive.
