8GB Kingston DataTraveler 110 USB Drive Released in India

Kingston DT110 Kingston has announced the availability of its latest storage device, dubbed DataTraveler 110 in the Indian market. Model number DT110 comes in storage capacities of up to 8GB.

This lightweight and compact device sports a retractable USB connector for ease-of-use and safe housing. The capless flash drive offers ultra-fast read/write speeds with high-speed USB 2.0.

“The DT110 provides an economic way to transfer and transport data whenever and wherever you travel,” mentioned Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, India, Kingston Technology.

The 1GB DT110 comes in a purple color scheme, 2GB in blue, 4GB in red and 8GB in green. It supports Windows Vista, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP (SP1 and SP2), Mac OS 10.2x and higher, Linux (2.6 and higher) operating systems.

Boasting to provide five-year warranty, the Kingston DataTraveler 110 USB drive carries a price tag of Rs. 625 for 1GB, Rs. 925 for 2GB, Rs. 1595 for 4GB and Rs. 3425 for 8GB. Interested buyers can purchase Kingston’s flash drives via Avnet India, HCL, Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics and Transtek Infoways, nationwide.

    The pricing doesn’t seem right especially when there are so many other flash drives availabe in the market. Today you can get a 160 gb harddrive from Western Digital that can fit in one’s pocket for a fraction of a price more than the 8 gb flash drive from kingston.

    Kingston Data Traveler 4GB is very very costly…. i just bought Transcend 4GB for Rs.800.

    why would you spend extra money when u can buy same thing at cheaper rate.

    it’s too costly as compaire to others. a person can buy a 80gb pocket HDD in lower price than kingston.

    Guys, now a days 160gb HD is aroung 1800rs why we are looking for Pen Drive but i have good news that i went to local market @ Wazir pur and their Kigston 8G pendrive cost 720rs and 4 gb cost 400rs … So enjoy 🙂
