Sega MIO Robot Dog Introduced

MIO Robot Dog Sega, a Japanese electronics company has developed the MIO, a new robotic puppy. This little puppy is definitely going to attract small children in Japan.

Apart from walking, “feeding” and dancing to rave music like iDog, the previous version of MIO, this puppy’s head and back have a touch sensor that reacts to caressing.

Ears and tail of MIO can wiggle and big doleful eyes. But what is more eye-catching is that MIO’s big eyes can show a hundred emoticons such as joy, anger, grief etc in response to the tender grace.

Sega Electronics is expected to launch MIO, a little robot dog by October at the approximate price of ¥9,240 (around Rs. 3,050)
