A Dutch giant Philips has finally brought a unique device that will be useful to everybody in this world. It will surely offer constructive functionalities not only for entertainment but also for communication.

Philips has come up with a new MP3 player that works as a mobile phone’s headset, dubbed the GoGear LUXE. This first-of-its-kinds music player allows users to tune in to their music and pick up calls wirelessly simultaneously.

It carries attributes such as up to 2 GB of flash-based memory, Bluetooth 2.1 support, dual microphone, a one-line LCD to display caller’s number, an FM tuner and Philips’ proprietary FullSound for outstanding sound quality.

In addition to the above mentioned features, the player-cum-phone headset delivers a decent 10 hours of playback time with 100 hours on standby.

Unblemished in a jewel-like façade of silver or red, the LUXE is purely aimed at female audiophiles and executives. This beautiful piece of device can also be worn like a broach so that the young fashionable women can maintain their style and at the same time enjoy their music-listening experience as well as conversations over phone.

Expected to reach Singaporean market first by next month, the Philips GoGear LUXE MP3 player will also hit Thailand, Malaysia, India, China and Southeast Asia. It is priced at S$139 (approx. Rs. 4,590).
