Keeping up with the changing trends, Comcast has now announced the launch of its new 4G/3G Mobile Hotspot which is also called the MiFi 4082 by Novatel Wireless. Users can effortlessly connect around five Wi-Fi-enabled devices to the internet. This new miniscule and lightweight device can be slipped into a bag with ease. This Wi-Fi router utilizes Xfinity Internet 2go service to render a portable Wi-Fi hotspot and quick internet connectivity within a 4G coverage area.

The Comcast 4G/3G Mobile Hotspot provides a swift internet connection and quick download speeds of around 6Mbps with 4G service and about 1.4Mbps with 3G service. The company shares that within the 4G network, the 4G/3G Mobile Hotspot capably offers rapid 4G speed. Outside 4G network, the device seamlessly connects to the nationwide 3G network.

“This new product gives customers the flexibility to instantly create their own secure hotspot everywhere they go,” commented Tom Nagel, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Wireless Services for Comcast. “Consumers want mobile Internet access for Wi-Fi-enabled devices like iPads, laptops and smartphones, and with this offering they can share their connection with family, friends or colleagues and can even watch TV and movies on-the-go.”

The utility level is further uplifted as the rechargeable battery renders hours of internet access in case users cannot search for power outlets. It also lends support to industry-standard Wi-Fi security for advanced protection. The new mobile hotspot is up for grabs in Xfinity Internet 2go markets with 4G service.

Additionally, new Xfinity Internet 2go users can purchase the Comcast 4G/3G Mobile Hotspot for $25 (approx Rs. 1,117) which is a one-time fee with a qualifying Xfinity Internet 2go service plan.
