Sprint to retail Android 2.1-powered Motorola Titanium

Motorola Titanium Just yesterday, we reported about the Motorola XPRT smartphone coming via Sprint. The company has revealed that it will also stream out the Motorola Titanium alongside the former through the Sprint channel. Leveraging Push-to-Talk capabilities, the handset has been referred to as ‘the first Nextel Direct Connect smartphone’ operating on the Android 2.1 OS.

Succeeding the Motorola i1, the Titanium has been enclosed in a slim and robust structure with compact elegance. It’s Military Specification 810G certification ensures protection against dust, shock, vibration, low pressure and solar radiation amongst others. Powered by the 1820mAh Lithium-ion battery, the memory of the device can be expanded up to 32GB via the embedded microSD slot.

This iDEN device sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen display and full QWERTY keypad. The outfitted 5MP camera facilitates users to click vibrant images whereas the Wi-Fi b/g, Stereo Bluetooth and GPS navigation abilities have been infused to extend superior connectivity. Thanks to the Android integration, customers can access over 15,000 applications, widgets and games. Additionally, the handset enables them to easily employ Google Mobile services such as Google search, Gmail, YouTube and others.
