D-Link goes green with energy-saving 24-port Managed Gigabit Switch

D-Link has put forth the new 24-port Managed Gigabit Switch (DGS-3200-24), claiming to be the first in the industry. The D-Link Green Technology is capable of automatically detecting the device link status and also reduces the power usage of ports which are not linked. On detecting a link down, the DGS-3200-24 has the ability to conserve power usage without compromising on the network performance.

In addition to the innovative Green functionalities, the DGS-3200-24 switch ensures advanced security features and is also IPv6 Phase II certified. The DGS-3200 series has the ability to operate in temperatures up to 50 degree Centigrade and also in non A/C environment which is particularly suitable for Indian climate.
