Well, Tata Teleservices Limited seems to have heard their plea as it launches the Tata Walky FM phone. This latest product from the telecom service provider is noted to be a chic cordless phone complete with an integrated FM stereo.

The Tata Walky FM merges the wireless device with a built-in FM with stereo sound. Besides the FM introduction, the product also boasts of speaker phone, large LCD screen, time and temperature display, 32 polyphonic ring tones as well as a large phone book for 300 x 5 entries. Users can take advantage of the device along with two plans under the ‘Come Home to Tata’ (CHT) offer namely CHT Zero Rental and CHT 99.

According to the company, this offering brings to subscribers reasonable calling rates and no rental. Zero rentals for the first 12 months are provided to users with the CHT Zero Rental plan. The CHT 99 plan comes with call rates at a minimal rent of Rs.99 per month as well as Tata-to-Tata calls at 30 paise per minute and local calls at 40 paise per minute. Customers can make STD calls for just 50 paise per minute.

The Tata Walky FM is available to post-paid and pre-paid customers for a price of Rs.1,499 and Rs.1,699 respectively.
