MusicSkins designs Apple iPad line of skins

MusicSkins For iPad

Those who are tired of Apple iPad news would do better getting back to bed and taking a long nap because it doesn’t look like the shower of iPad tidbits is going to let up any time soon. MusicSkins has released a fresh new line of entertainment-themed vinyl skin products for the iPad. The partnership with Live Nation allows the company to offer skins depicting music artists like The Beatles, Sex Pistols, Lil Wayne, Madonna and Black Eyed Peas among others.

The scratch-resistant, anti-UV coated skins are created out of vinyl that lends them a high-gloss photo grade finish. They feature a 3M air release adhesive technology that lets users apply the skin evenly onto the iPad without trapping air bubbles. Apart from covering musical genres such as pop, rock, rap, R&B, reggae and country, the MusicSkins catalogue includes fashion, art, models, Adult Swim and similar media themed-skins. Acts from other companies like Taylor Swift, The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Rihanna, Linkin Park and Pink Floyd are also available for the iPad.

“The new iPad promises to be one of Apple’s most cutting-edge releases since the iPhone, so launching our line of personalized skins concurrent with the debut of the iPad represents a huge addition to the MusicSkins lineup,” explained Jed Seifert, MusicSkins LLC, executive vice president. “The new line will add to our already-extensive offering of devices, ranging from the iPhone to iPods, laptops to Seagate hard drives, and from Guitar Hero to Nintendo DSi.”

MusicSkins has attached a $19.99 (approx. Rs.894) price tag to each skin for the Apple iPad.
