The new Bluetooth headphones by Q-sound are powered by solar energy, reports Slashgear. Anyways, as energy conservation has started finding a place in our daily lives, any product that is promoted on this line is bound to succeed.
Although this product is just a concept, this device comes with a headband filled with solar cells. These solar cells are made from flexible plastic. This enables users to bend the headband to fit their head without breaking the cells. So while users take their morning walks, these headsets charge themselves.
Alternatively, this device is powered by two rechargeable 800mAH NiMH batteries that that are able to provide 40 hours of playback. The device also features Bluetooth connection that allows one to take calls and listen to music without the hassles of entangled wires.
Apparently, these headphones need only an hour of exposure to the sun to get charged and provide 2.67 hours of usage.
Guess these details are more than enough to make us restless to know if this concept will actually make it to the market. So let’s just wait and watch if this dream headset becomes a reality.
