Toshiba keeps up to its commitment by finally unveiling its first ever Blu-ray Disc player. Its promise to deliver high-definition entertainment has resulted into the emergence of the BDX2000 Blu-ray Disc player.

Toshiba takes care that it’s this debutant complements whichever room it is placed in. Its faceted design with smoked mirrored front panel is eye appealing. Sporting a smooth, clean façade is its stylish front panel dropdown door that conceals the player’s primary features.

The combination of the BDX2000 and the Regza LCD TV brings to users superior quality high-definition audio and video experience with a 1080p digital output. With support for BD-Live (Profile 2.0), users can benefit from BDX2000’s interactive functionalities through an Ethernet connection. The player brings amazing entertainment with the varied factors such as interactive content on select Blu-ray discs and picture-in-picture function.

The Toshiba player allows users to connect with the Recza LCD TV through HDMI cable by using the Regza-Link function. The player displays high-definition content with a single remote control. The SD card slot further adds to the convenience.

The Toshiba BDX2000 is Energy Star compliant and comes with a price tag of $249.99 (approx. Rs. 12,193). The device is expected to make it to the markets by November.
