LG G2 is landing in India soon, priced at Rs 40,499

LG has already announced that the G2 is coming soon to India through its official Facebook page and the invites sent out by the company have confirmed that the launch date will be falling on September 30. But even before the device could go official, Saholic has put the LG G2 on sale with price tag that reads Rs 40,499. The e-retailer says that the smartphone will be shipped on October 7 to customers who have placed the order.

The LG G2 is an advanced Android-based device that plays successor to the LG Optimus G and G Pro. Drenched in shades of black and white, the smartphone packed into an exterior measuring 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9 millimeters, accommodates a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 1920 x 1080p resolution with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 film. The essential sensors have also been placed alongside the screen and so is a 2.1MP camera with video recording capability.

Its flip side plays host to a 13MP snapper featuring LED flash, HDR, 8x digital zoom, auto focus, optical image stabilization, face detection, geo-tagging and much more. A 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with four cores sits snugly within the confines of the gadget with an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. This Android Jelly Bean 4.2-based handset draws power from a 3000mAh lithium-polymer battery that should keep the device charged up for at least an entire day.

Users interested in purchasing the LG G2 in exchange of a price of Rs 40,500 can head over to Saholic and pre-order it to be delivered in early October.
