Another smartphone that may be gearing up for its debut at the MWC is the Gigabyte GSmart G1355, which is expected to be launched towards the end of this month. The device is tweaked with the Google Android mobile platform and lets users keep their personal and professional lives separate by offering dual SIM capability.

As GSMArena reports, this handset does not exactly fall under the category of high-end smartphones and resembles the ZTE Skate in terms of its specifications. Nevertheless, it is one of the very few dual-SIM devices to flaunt a huge 4.3-inch WVGA multi-touch display. Although the phone’s thickness is only 11.5 millimeters, it tips the scale at 170 grams.

The Qualcomm MSM7227T chipset that clocks in a processing speed of 800MHz, allows users to launch multiple applications, while ensuring smooth operation. Besides the Qualcomm CPU, this Gigabyte GSmart offering has been integrated with the Adreno 200 GPU to deliver a decent graphics performance in addition to 512MB RAM.

This smartphone comes armed with a 5MP camera that boasts of attributes like auto focus and LED flash. Users are given an option to increase the memory capacity with the assistance of the built-in expansion slot for a microSD card. Wireless internet connectivity can be expected from the incorporated Wi-Fi b/g/n.

The Gigabyte GSmart G1355 price and availability details have been kept under wraps. But this dual-SIM Android phone will most probably hit store shelves by the end of February. It may also make its first appearance at the MWC, to be held this month.
