ICS-based ZTE Grand X IN to arrive with Intel Inside

The ZTE Grand X IN is said to be the company’s first Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphone to incorporate an Intel CPU. Packed with the XMM 6260 platform, users will be able to access data over 3G with upload and download speeds of up to 5.76Mbps and 21Mbps, respectively.

Being the company’s new flagship device from the Grand series, it runs on an Intel Atom Z2460 processor coupled with the Hyper-Threading technology for carrying out operations. 1GB of RAM and approximately 16GB of internal storage are incorporated in addition to a microSD card slot that supports memory expansion up to 32GB. This 140.8-gram device is powered up by a 1650mAh battery.

On the front, the phone sports a 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 540 pixel TFT capacitive touch panel along with a secondary 0.3MP camera for face-to-face chats and self-portraits. The rear features an 8MP AF snapper with LED flash. Other than the above mentioned connectivity highlights, the device provides DLNA, NFC and Bluetooth 2.1. Also, Dolby’s Surround Sound technology, HD Video capture, HD Voice and dual mics are included as well.

The company is yet to disclose the ZTE Grand X IN price details. Its release date for countries across Europe is expected to fall sometime during this month.
