The past week witnessed the releases and leaks of a whole lot of Samsung phones. The long list includes the Samsung Gravity 2 and the mid-range E2120 candybar handsets.And we start this week by reporting that the Samsung Instinct HD has popped up on Best Buy. Well, for Samsung lovers, this seems to be the best way to begin the week.
The specifications listed on Best Buy do confirm a few of the rumors we heard earlier. The site affirms that the Instinct will include a 5MP camera. The camera is capable of recording and playing high definition video. It will also include an HDMI output port. Apart from this, the handset will offer support for WiFi, instant one-click access to social networking sites and visual voicemail.
There is no official word on the pricing of this handset but it is speculated that the Samsung Instinct HD will be priced somewhere between $150 (approx. Rs. 7,278) and $200 (approx. Rs. 9,705) after a two year contract. Although Best Buy doesn’t mention an exact release date but it does mention that the phone will be made available before September 26. Well, we are hoping that this phone will come are way soon. So let’s just wait for an official announcement.
