Nokia N96 multimedia phone, which has already made its presence in the Indian and UK markets, has now been launched in the US.
Said to be the flagship multimedia device in the Nseries range, the Nokia N96 sports a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED Flash.
The Nokia N96 phone’s features include 2.8-inch display, up to 16 GB onboard memory with up to 24 GB of optional microSD card, built-in 3D stereo speakers, superior sound and music playback. It supports MPEG-4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video. It is also compatible with USB 2.0 connection, WLAN and 3G HSDPA support.
The N96 also packs in turn-by-turn voice navigation with geotagging and N-Gage gaming support with Ovi to share images online.
Priced at $895 (approx. Rs. 42,839), the Nokia N96 is available for purchase in New York and Chicago through Nokia Flagship stores and in the US through open channels, online store and even at various independent retailers and e-tailers.
