Nokia, the world’s largest mobile phone maker, has introduced their three new mobile phone device, namely Nokia 6500 Classic, 6500 Slide and 8600 Luna.
It is said that the Nokia 6500 Classic and 6500 Slide are mid-range mobile phones while the Nokia 8600 Luna would be aimed at the higher segment of the mobile phone market.
Nokia 6500 Classic is flawless case crafted from 360 degrees of anodized aluminum. The Nokia 6500 classic is a 9.5mm thin and has a diamond polishing.

Furthermore, it features the audio and data connectivity by consolidating them into a single compact port. The Nokia 6500 Classic can be easily used as a high capacity flash drive or to be charged directly from laptop computer – all with one cable.
The Nokia 6500 classic will be available during the 3rd quarter of 2007 at an estimated retail price of 320 Euros (Rs. 17,422) excluding taxes and subsidies.
Nokia 6500 Slide, an enthusiast-quality, delivers a refined tactile with a stainless steel body. It has a unique hard coating that helps to prevent scuffs, scratches, and even fingerprints.

The Nokia 6500 Slide would retail for around 370 Euros (Rs. 20,136) before taxes and subsidies and is expected to be available during the 3rd quarter of 2007.
The giant company has also officially announced the Nokia 8600 Luna, featuring a design-driven stainless steel and glass body. It is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera and would retail for around 700 Euros (Rs. 38,102) without including taxes and subsidies.

Nokia 6500 is no doubt a good phone but fingerprints ? common I have seen its high resolution pics with good amout of fingerprints on it.
Metal phones are cool but won’t it be ‘ouche – ouche’ to touch and stick to your ear in winters ?
hii i am in usa. i had nokia 8801 usa edition. after getting problem. nokia ppl said they dont have accessaroy to fix but they will send me brand new nokia 8600 with all accessories (include even wrist bend) case. with 1 year warranty.starting from nov 1 2007.
i have just received it. if anyone is interested price is ab 30000 rs. my friend is coming to bombay (andheri) if you want to pick up. on december.

NOKIA CLASSIC looks very very beautiful . But i think it is much wiser to buy a made-in-china-equivalent of NOKIA CLASSIC (with almost the same features) for only about 5000 PKR instead of paying 17000 Pakistani Rupees for NOKIA CLASSIC .
