Logitech Harmony One Advanced Remote

Recently, we reported about the introduction of the Logitech Harmony One advance universal remote control. Now, Logitech announced the launch of its latest remote, dubbed as Harmony One advanced universal remote control, in the Indian market.

Maintaining the same one-touch, activity-based control as other Harmony remotes, the new user-friendly version of Logitech Harmony sports a 2.2-inch full-colored touchscreen with capacitive technology that acts in response to tiny electrical charges from the fingertips.

According to Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager, India & SAARC, Logitech, “The Harmony advanced universal remotes have been highly successful at providing easy, one-touch access to favorite activities, such as watching TV, playing a video game, or listening to music – all with a single remote. To further improve our lineup, while developing Harmony One, we sought to intimately understand the interaction between people, their remotes, and their entertainment systems. In fact, Harmony One is the result of our most comprehensive research and development undertaking ever – more than 20,000 hours.”

It also comes with an intuitive button layout that ensures an easy control over home entertainment is also available. Divided into four distinct zones, the remote concentrates on numbers; traditional DVD controls; D-pad with volume and channel up/down; and on-screen menu buttons. The remote consists of only 40 most-essential buttons, which are sculpted to deliver useful tactile cues.

The Harmony One incorporates an elite one-touch activity-based control system that is based on the world’s largest A/V-control database of entertainment equipment, guided online setup and sophisticated telephone support.

By using the patented Smart State Technology, the universal remote claims to provide activity-based control and ability to track the power state and input setting of the various components it controls. Now shifting from home theater system to audio system is simply a button away.

In terms of looks and design, the ergonomics Harmony One remote possesses a curved, exceptionally comfortable shape as well as an elegant piano-black top and a silver base, and black buttons with white backlighting. Besides, the rechargeable remote’s recharging station comes with a sleek profile with an adjustable light.

Backed by 2 years warranty, the Logitech Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote Control comes with a price tag of Rs. 18,495 and can be purchased in the India through Rashi Peripherals.
