Moller M200G hovercraft Paul Moller, the Canadian-born creator of Skycar, has designed M200G Moller Volantor, a flying vehicle that takes-off and lands vertically.

Now, that reminds of ‘The Jetsons’, an animated TV show.

To produce M200G, Moller has used eight low-emission Rotapower engines and it speeds up to 50 miles per hour at about 10 feet off the ground.

The ultimate off-road vehicle is capable of allowing 250 pounds of passenger weight for a side, utmost 2 passengers can travel. Once, airborne, the flight times, lasts between 45 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on the vehicle’s speed.

Though, M200G can be termed as a UFO-looking saucer-shaped craft, after its release it might be called IFO – Identified Flying Object.

Moller can see this craft as the consumer purchase flying car, which can avoid traffic jams at peak times.

Earlier, Moller’s M400 Skycar was the flying car, which had an expected price of around $1M. The Skycar was an under development flying vehicle. It was designed for four-person, covering the maximum speed of 360 miles per hours at 6.7 miles above the ground.

Designed at a recreational vehicle, the M200G will cost at least $90,000 (approx. Rs. 3,618,900). The launch date is not yet revealed.

I think the craft would have to fly higher than 10 feet to avoid traffic congestion, he wouldnt even get over a bridge.

    Yes,

But a bridge is no problem when you can easily fly around it, who says you have to stick to the road?
