Apparently, the all new HP Mini 1151NR netbook by Verizon is being launched on May 17, according to Slash Gear. Verizon supposedly plans to launch this netbook with its Mifi2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot.
This netbook is said to support EVDO transmission standards. It is speculated to be a basic netbook model. The device is reported to incorporate an Intel Atom N270 which is 1.6 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM.
The connectivity features of the device are said to include WiFi and Bluetooth. There are also two USB ports along with a 2-in-1 memory card reader.
The device is rumored to be priced at $199 (approx Rs.9, 826) with a two year contract and a mail in rebate. The two year contract will include monthly fee of around $40 to $60.
Although the device is rumored to launch on May 17, the question whether it will actually launch or no is still unanswered. Without speculating much, let’s wait for an official announcement.
