Lenovo’s rumored laptop named X300, which is said to be MacBook Air’s competitor has finally released. The new ultra-thin laptop from Lanovo is as thin as 0.73 inches and weighs only 2.9 pounds.

The new laptop is well equipped with 13.3-inch LED backlit display and a removable battery. The battery features extended life of 10 hours. Hence, the laptop would be very useful in long flight hours or journeys.

Besides, even after being one of the thinnest laptops the X300 incorporates a DVD burner, which Apple’s MacBook Air does not.

Moreover, the X300 offers connectivity options like WiMax, WLAN and GB Ethernet connectivity as well as GPS capabilities

Talking about the operating system, Lenovo offers options between Windows XP and Vista.

Internal 64GB SSD, webcam, fingerprint reader, 3USB ports, 2Ghz/880Mhz Intel Merom Santa Rosa Dual Core CPU and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory are some of the important features of the Lenovo X300.

The Lenovo X300 will be available in the US, at a price beginning from $2,799.
