Apple delays iPad’s international launch

Apple iPad

Beyond any shadow of doubt, the Apple iPad has got to taste the sweetness of being over-hyped. But those who have been waiting to lay their hands on Apple iPad may get disappointed with this tiding. Apple has delayed the international release of the iPad by one month. According to an Apple media advisory, higher demand has lead to this outcome.

Although users outside the US won’t be able to snap up their device until the end of May, Apple will announce the international pricing. In fact, the company has taken a huge number of pre-orders for iPad 3G models for delivery by the end of this month.

At the same time, Apple noted that it has managed to merchandized more than 500,000 iPads in its first week of US sales.

The company will be announcing international pricing and begin taking online pre-orders on Monday, May 10.
