Lancerlink iJector coming to Japan next month

Lancerlink iJector Projector Lancerlink plans to launch a dock-form projector dubbed iJector, reports Gizmodo. This projector can be used with the iPhone and iPod. The built-in 3 watt stereo speakers complement the image quality to provide a complete entertainment package.

The iJector displays up to 50-inch images with a resolution of 557 x 234 pixels. It can cast images from a distance of 2.3m without blurring them. Flaunting 195 x 145 x 96mm dimension, the iJector weighs only 120g.

The product is compatible with a varying generation of iPods and iPhones including iPod Nano generation 1, 2 and 3, iPod Video generation 5, iPod Classic, iPod Touch and iPhone 3.0. The company hasn’t specified if the projector will also support the new iPhone 3G S.

Apparently, this projector is also said to incorporate 20 lumens of brightness. The lamp life of the device is expected to be around 30,000 hours.

Licensed by Apple, the iJector will be made available in Japan from July 17. The projector is expected to cost users a hefty sum of $700 (approx. Rs.33,735).
