Buffalo Thumbkey flash drive is now available in 16GB capacity, says Akihabara. The company has doubled the storage capacity of the drive by increasing it from 8GB to 16GB.
The drive measures just 5mm in length when attached to a USB drive. When not connected to the USB port, these drives approximately measure 18mm x 18mm x 8mm. These properties make the drive almost invisible when connected. The drive can be connected to the laptop even while it is tucked away in a carry case.
The Thumbkey is also available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities and weighs approximately 3 grams. The small size of the drive makes it completely portable and convenient to use. The drive is said to be ideal for netbooks, UMPCs and standard notebooks.
The Buffalo Thumbkey is available via GeekStuff4U. It is expected to be priced at $136 (approx. Rs. 6,545).
