Samsung 650 series LCD TV with CCFL backlight

Samsung has announced the availability of its 65-inch 650 Series LCD TV. This new LCD boasts of CCFL-backlighting and 1080 pixel resolution. It is the latest addition to Samsung’s LCD 650 Series. The 65-inch LCD is also known as the LN65B650. The new addition promises to incorporate a host of advanced networking and connectivity features.

The LN65B650 is said to incorporate the Auto Motion Plus technology that promises to provide an enhanced picture quality. The Ultra Clear Panel technology promises to deliver crisp and clear images in vibrant colors. The Crystal neck swivel stand perfectly complements the Touch of Color design. The dynamic contrast ratio of 1,00,000:1 along with the 4ms response time are said to enhance the performance of this LCD TV.

This 650 Series LCD complies with the Energy Star v3.0 specifications. The other advanced technologies incorporated in this TV include Wide Color Enhancer 3, SRS TruSurround HD and [email protected]. The TV is also compatible with various movie formats like MPEG4, DivX, MP3 and JPEG.

This new LCD TV was displayed at the CEDIA Expo this month. The company also showcased the recently announced 8500 Series LED TV at the Expo. The products displayed include Samsung Blu-ray players, Blu-ray Soundbar and Blu-ray Home Theater Systems.

This LCD flaunts various ports like PC input, RS232C, optical audio output, Ethernet and more. The 65-inch Samsung 650 series LCD TV is expected to be made available this month. It will retail for around $5,999.99 (approx. Rs. 2,91,400). Well, considering the luxurious price tag we just hope that the LCD is worth the price.
