ViewSonic has launched its latest widescreen LCD monitor in the Indian market, named VA1616w. This new 16-inch display is the first LCD monitor that comes with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and high-end functions that include sRGB Color management, 2000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR), Auto Tune Function and ClearMotivII technology.

It has been designed for SOHO and value end users as it provides a high quality display in a minimal space. The widescreen display ensures easy functioning for simultaneous office applications and reduces distortion while watching DVD or HD content.
The ViewSonic VA1616w and other 16-inch series of display are believed to be compliant with the strictest safety and environmental standards such as TCO and ENERGY STAR. The displays have been developed by using environmentally friendly materials.
Backed by 3-years warranty, the ViewSonic VA1616w LCD monitor costs Rs. 7699. The 16-inch series displays are expected to hit the Indian shelves by May via authorized ViewSonic distributors.
