JVC DLA-HD100 and DLA-RS2 Home Theatre Projectors Launched

JVC Projector With HDTV sets, JVC also introduced two home theatre projectors namely DLA-HD100 and DLA-RS2. Both are high definition projectors that achieve an unprecedented native contrast ratio of 30,000:1.

The projectors use a 0.7 inch full HD D-ILA and also offer HDMI 1.3, improved color rendition by broadening the color space, a motorized Fujinon 2x zoom lens, and customized on-screen gamma control. The 2x zoom lens is made by Fujinon Corporation and it features a large-diameter, all-glass lens assembly with 16 elements in 13 groups.

Besides, the DLA-HD100 and the DLA-RS2 sport ±80 percent vertical and ±34 percent horizontal lens shift and manual adjustment of gamma via the remote control and an on-screen display.

JVC will ship the DLA-HD100 and the DLA-RS2 in November 2007 starting at about $8,000 (approx 3,23,960 INR).
