BenQ C840 Digital Camera

Today, BenQ announced its new digital camera called C840. The camera features 8 MP CCD sensor, smc PENTAX lens, Face Tracking function, Shake-Free mode, high ISO options, optical zoom in video recording and 3:2 and 16:9 special output sizes.

The shake-free mode reduces the chances of blur images by unsteady hands. Thus users can view clear images without any distortion. While, the Face Tracking function detects and tracks human faces and then ensures the perfect capture of the faces in the image.

Apart from that the BenQ camera can record a movie with optical zoom at wide screen format (720×400) at 30 fps.

The C840 Digital camera features ISO 1600 that allows users to click clear images even in low light conditions. The most important feature is that the camera supports SD memory card of up to 4G.

Moreover, the camera sports 15 different shooting modes, including manual mode, shake-free mode, portrait mode and night scene mode. Also it comes along with the PictBridge function that can print photos directly from the camera via a compatible printer.

BenQ has not revealed any pricing and availability details.
