Sony introduces two new headphones

Sony RF865RK NC13

Music aficionados who love to carry their entertainment along with them will soon have two new functional headsets options to mull over. Sony has officially announced the upcoming availability of its MDR-RF865RK wireless headphone system and MDR-NC13 noise canceling earphones.

The MDR-RF865RK wireless headphone system offers a transmission range of around 100m, enabling users to enjoy music tracks from anywhere in the house. It sports a light and compact form factor for providing optimum comfort when listening to the radio, viewing TV or engaging in video games sans the clutter of wires.

The headphone’s 40mm driver units deliver smooth audio by providing deep bass response, while wireless interference noise is reduced considerably for a better overall experience. The sound levels can be easily adjusted by employing the device’s handily mounted volume control.

This pair comes equipped with an elegant charging dock for quickly and conveniently juicing up the headphones. The fully charged rechargeable batteries ensure approximately 25 hours of continuous music playback. The MDR-NC13 noise canceling in-ear travel headphones are touted to offer clear sound quality for music lovers on the move.

Its noise canceling design effectively decreases ambient noise by around 87 percent, while discarding external interferences such as wind or other noises. The earphones’ vertical in-ear and closed-type build seamlessly blends wearing comfort with fairly good sound quality. Although the MDR-NC13 sports a supplied manganese battery, a single AAA alkaline battery can accelerate listening time to almost 100 hours.

Both of these Sony offerings are expected to be hit shelves in the month of April.
