Cisco recently unveiled a new range of Wi-Fi devices in India which includes the Linksys X-series all-in-one home wireless modem routers and the Linksys Range Extender. Along with this, it has also revamped the E-series wireless routers. The company says that these devices are mainly directed towards households in India, providing them with options for wireless connectivity.
The Linksys X-series is designed to create a wireless network within the home space that works with both DSL and cable broadband connections. This seems to be a suitable option for consumers who already have a fixed broadband connection and for those who want to upgrade to wireless-N. It also has provisions to be connected to cable and DSL broadband services when moving to a new home or changing service providers.

Another addition to this collection by the company is the Linksys Wireless-N Range Extender. This device is crafted to take an existing wireless signal and then repeat it throughout the home to extend the signal, thus taking care of problems like weak signals or dead spots. Along with this new lneup of Wi-Fi solutions, Cisco has also refreshed its previous E-series. The series is now said to provide better speed, range, and usability, while sporting the latest industrial design.
The Linksys X2000 is priced at Rs. 9,499, while the X3000 Advanced can be picked for Rs. 11,999. From the E-series range, the E1200 is available for Rs. 5,999, while the E1500 costs Rs. 6,999. The prices for E2500, E3200, and E4200 are Rs. 8,999, Rs. 11,999, and Rs. 13,999, respectively. The Range Extender RE1000 bears a price tag of Rs. 6,499.
