Logitech unveils wireless solar keyboard K750

Logitech K750 Keyboard

One of the most annoying problems with wireless keyboards is that the battery gets depleted sooner than later. Logitech, in its bid to counter this problem has introduced its first light-powered wireless keyboard dubbed K750 for Indian consumers. The company claims that this new keyboard can powers itself whenever it is exposed to light due to the integrated solar panel.

In spite of the fact that it is powered by light, the keyboard can operate for up to three months in total darkness. The makers of this peripheral have chiseled it to a mere 1/3-inch thickness, giving a more stylish appeal. Moreover, the device’s rounded edges and thin profile makes it very portable. It features Logitech Incurve keys that support the shape of fingertips and aids typing comfort.

“The keyboard is still the best input device for typing emails and IMs, updating your Facebook page or posting responses to your favorite blogs — and the Logitech wireless solar keyboard K750 is the next big innovation in keyboard technology,” shared Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager – India and South West Asia. “The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard is powered by light but can work in total darkness for up to three months. Plus, with its PVC-free construction and fully recyclable packaging, it’s designed to minimize its footprint.”

This device offers a Logitech advance 2.4GHz wireless connectivity feature which enables users to stay virtually connected without any delays or dropouts. It provides added security using 128-bit AES encryption technology. The keyboard includes a unifying receiver that can be connected with up to six compatible devices, eliminating clutter and freeing up USB ports. It also arrives with a solar power app that features a lux meter displaying more detailed information about battery levels.

The Logitech wireless solar keyboard K750 will be distributed by Rashi Peripherals at a retail price of Rs. 5,995.
