Now, the company has uncovered the handy AT&T USBConnect Shockwave and Adrenaline LaptopConnect devices. The Adrenaline claims to be AT&T’s first LTE-upgradeable device while the Shockwave claims to be the first HSPA+-capable device.

AT&T USBConnect Adrenaline from LG offers quick broadband experience with an easy software upgrade using AT&T Communication Manager or AT&T Global Network Client. Users can enjoy the enthralling LTE network with utmost ease.

“With the planned deployment of HSPA+ technology later this year, combined with the continued rollout of expanded backhaul, AT&T will have increased our 3G download or upload speeds multiple times in five years,” commented Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “We have purposefully planned our path to LTE to create a wireless network where the transition from 3G does not give customers wireless whiplash.”

Designed with a smooth and lustrous finish, Adrenaline puts forth seamless plug-and-play interface. Besides, the device sports an integrated antenna and offers multiple OS support. Fitted with a multi-color LED status indicator, the solution comes with GPS and a microSD memory card slot which lends support to around 32GB storage capacity. Owners can effortlessly access Wi-Fi hotspots and AT&T’s engaging 23,000 hotspots. Apart from this, users can enjoy DataConnect and DataConnect Pass plan.

The AT&T USBConnect Shockwave from Sierra Wireless is capable of functioning effectively on AT&T’s anticipated HSPA+ network upgrade. The company is expected to roll out this next evolution of 3G network technology towards the end of 2010. The device flaunts it ability of installing in around 60 seconds. AT&T USBConnect 900 from Huawei is compatible with the AT&T DataConnect Pass pre-paid service.

The AT&T USBConnect Shockwave is available for free with a two-year service agreement, minimum data plan and mail-in-rebate. The AT&T USBConnect Adrenaline can be purchased for $49.99 (approx Rs. 2,221) after a two-year service agreement, minimum data plan and mail-in-rebate. The AT&T USBConnect 900 can be picked up for $79.99 (approx Rs. 3,554) without a contract.

Users can choose from several AT&T’s DataConnect Pass options to easily access mobile broadband data. DataConnect Day Pass for 100MB costs $15 (approx Rs. 666). DataConnect Week Pass for 300MB is tagged at $30 (approx Rs. 1,333) and DataConnect Month Pass for 1GB at $50 (approx Rs. 2,221).
