Tech world has probably been waiting long enough to find out whether Apple’s Magic mouse is going to get any competition from Speedlink’s newest offering. The company has finally decided to release the Speedlink Cue wireless multi-touch mouse for PC into the market.

As reported by us previously, it’s going to be sold in shades of metallic red, black, white and silver. A run-through of the specifications throws up an 8m range supported by 2.4GHz wireless technology and the in-built nano receiver, a 1000dpi optical sensor, an on/off switch and extended battery life, the last mentioned of which is complemented by the power-saving mode.

The mouse can be employed by left- or right-handed users and the pre-loaded driver utility enables customization of the commands. Easily installable via an auto Smartlink connection, the sensors on this peripheral support multi-touch gestures made by up to two fingers, swipe to scroll, scrolling in four directions and so on.

The Speedlink Cue mouse sells for €39.99 (approx. Rs. 2,400).
