Netgear offers extensive wireless coverage with Powerline AV 200 router

Netgear XAVNB2001

With the recent rise in the usage of wireless internet for home and office purposes, manufacturers are busy sketching out innovative products for quicker and extensive connections. Netgear has recently introduced its Powerline AV 200 Wireless-N Extender Kit which creates a Wi-Fi hotspot using the existing electrical wiring, the XAVNB2001.

Users can now easily set up the kit in order to begin surfing the web wirelessly with internet connection in more than one device of their home or office. Players can use the device to play online games on their gaming consoles, while entertainment buffs can enjoy streaming online videos on their smartphones.

Passwords configurations can get confusing for users to set up or remember. Just with a touch of a button, the kit proffers a secure connection without inputting any password. Also, an internet application speed of up to 200Mbps is delivered by this newly designed offering.

Testing of the connection at any electrical outlet is carried out by the router for optimal performance. The energy efficient device equips power on/off buttons and shuts down automatically with an automatic powerline shutdown function when not in use for a longer period of time. Lastly, the packaging of the eco-conscious device is made from 80 percent recycled items.

As of now, there’s no official word on the pricing and availability details of the new XAVNB2001 Powerline AV 200 Wireless-N Extender Kit.
