The WickedLeak Wammy Magnus will start shipping for Rs. 15,499 and the manufacturer has also begun taking pre-bookings apart from declaring the price. Even as the company promises to start delivering the tablet by February 22, what remains to be seen is whether other e-retailers manage to lay hands over it earlier.
Currently rocking Android 4.1 out of the box, the Wammy Magnus should be upgradeable to the latest version of the OS a while after its launch. Adding to its plus points, is the fact that it includes a 1.5GHz quad core CPU at the given retail value. The processor will be tied in with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU with 8 cores and it will seek assistance from 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
Users will be able to enjoy wider viewing angles, thanks to the IPS technology utilized by the integrated 10.1-inch multi-touch capacitive display. As seen in most slates, this tablet shows off dual cameras as well. A 2MP main camera finds itself fitted onto the rear, whereas a VGA webcam settles on the front panel.
There will be 16GB of internal memory in order to hoard content. Some of the ports included on the device comprise of those for a microSD card and a microUSB cable amongst others. Also, an 8,000mAh Li-polymer battery should help users derive around 6 hours of usage.
