The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Verizon will be up for grabs starting tomorrow via the carrier’s retail stores and online. Prospective buyers will have access to 4G LTE services for an enhanced browsing experience.

As its name suggests, the tablet wears a 7-inch display that dominates the front panel. The device is based on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and it sports a 3.2MP rear-facing camera which can be used for image capturing and video recording. There is a front-facing VGA lens that is capable of snapping up self portraits. It can even be utilized for commencing live face-to-face video chats.

A dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz is incorporated within the slate to carry out operations. Then there is 8GB of integrated storage that can be further stretched up to an additional 64GB by slipping a microSD card into the tablet’s memory expansion slot. For extended connectivity, this slab supports Bluetooth 4.0 apart from Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n standards. And with 4G LTE support, users can expect download speeds of up to 12Mbps and upload speeds of approximately 5Mbps.

The tablet is classified amongst the SAFE-certified devices which feature AES 256-bit encryption. Also, it is compatible with Microsoft Exchange Active Sync as well as VPN and MDM services. On-board applications include Netflix, Samsung’s Media Hub, Amazon Kindle, Peel Smart Remote and a host of other apps from Google. Needless to say, users will be able to download games, songs, books and much more via the Play store.
