A gadget meant for ladies should fulfill the basic criteria of being compact as well as pleasing to the eye, and the recently announced Milagrow TabTop PC for women in India seems to fit the bill just right. The device comes drenched in shades of pink, blue, gray and black.
The tablet acquires its multitasking properties from a CPU that clocks in a processing speed of 1.2GHz in addition to 1GB DDR3 RAM. As the device is especially designed to suit the needs of women, it is tweaked with a special user interface. Its front panel is dominated by a 4:3 LED backlit capacitive multi-touch high definition display, spanning 7 inches. The 8GB internal memory can be increased with the help of the expansion slot that supports SD cards of up to 32GB capacity.
Although the slate is based on the Android Gingerbread platform, it is not deployed with the tablet-specific Honeycomb OS. And besides offering access to the Android Market to allow users to browse through numerous applications, it is pre-loaded with over 50 apps. It draws power from the 4000mAh battery that is capable of coughing up juice for about 8 hours.
The tab can be tethered to a number of systems and peripherals through the USB 2.0 port. Additionally, the support for Adobe Flash Player 11 should ensure an enhanced web browsing experience. Its 3G capability which otherwise seems to be a complaint with most network providers in the country, takes care of the speed factor. This Wi-Fi enabled TabTop PC can act as a mobile hotspot as well, and supports up to 8 mobile devices.
