The HP ElitePad 900 US release date schedule is out and potential buyers can expect the tablet to hit stores by January next year. This device is packed with a host of enterprise-grade highlights that make it suitable for business and government related fields.

One amongst them is the company’s Smart Jackets that provide numerous connectivity options apart from extending the run time through an extra battery and offering various add-ons. Other than this, users can select additional accessories including the Productivity Jacket, Expansion Jacket, Rugged Case, Docking Station and Executive Tablet Pen which add to the device’s productivity.

Moving on to the core ingredients of the Windows 8 tablet, it flaunts a 10.1-inch touch panel that spans over its 9.2mm form factor and weighs not more than 1.5 pounds. Furthermore, the screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass layer and it renders visuals with an aspect ratio of 16:10 to make the most of the display area for business applications. The slate is crafted out of premium materials including CNC-machined aluminum.

The front panel is fixed with a video camera that records clips in 1080p, whereas the rear sports an 8MP snapper and LED flash. Customers can make use of the CyberLink YouCam tool for trouble-free face-to-face communication, capturing web clips in HD or shooting training videos at a less cost.
