LTE versions of Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab 8.9 revealed

The recently announced LTE editions of Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9 claim to ‘speed up the Smarter Life’ with high-speed 4G connectivity. Besides powerful features, these portable devices are now incorporated with unparalleled screen technology to complement their swift performance.

The LTE technology in combination with the 4G network improves download time, offering a speed of up to 100Mbps. It also facilitates uninterrupted social gaming, media streaming and video chatting along with allowing devices to upload files at the rate of 50Mb per second. The enhanced bandwidth and connectivity is also expected to result in developments of better applications and a new generation of mobile services.

Equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE delivers discrete 3D graphics performance in addition to allowing instant access to web pages. Besides an 8MP camera, it is fitted with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display. Operating on the Google Android 2.3 platform, it integrates a number of enterprise solutions together with Social, Game and Music hubs. Moreover, the smartphone can be connected to eight devices through Wi-Fi.

Aimed at professionals who are constantly on the move, the 8.6mm thin LTE version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is extremely portable. The TouchWiz interface adds to the intuitive user experience of the 8.9-inch screen. Further, the LTE functionalities permit video conferencing sans disruptions.

Pricing and availability details of the Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE editions have not been disclosed.
